Esther (Etty) Haramaty is the Director of Excellence and Science Enrichment Programs for high achieving youth at the Davidson Institute of Science Education, the educational arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science.
Esther has earned her B.Sc. degree in Biology and Teaching Certificate from Tel Aviv University, and completed her M.Sc. in Life Sciences from Bar Ilan University, Israel. She then continued her research at the Department of Gastroenterology, Chaim Sheba Medical Center (affiliated with Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine). Esther joined the Davidson Institute of Science Education in 2009. In addition and for several years, Esther has been holding a lecturer position at various academic institutes in Israel and the United States, teaching Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, and Genetics.
