Isabel Urbano Ortega holds a BSc in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Deusto in the Basque Country, Spain, and a Master´s Degree in Management of Innovation and Knowledge from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), Spain. She is currently a PhD student at the University of Basque Country.
Mrs Urbano is currently a Lecturer at the University Business School of the Chamber of Commerce of Bilbao (CUBS), where she has been teaching since 1999 specifically the following subjects: -Marketing plan. -Entrepreneurship. -Innovation. In recent years, she has been managing a group of researchers at the department of research of CUBS where she has been working on subjects related to social innovation, public innovation and public politics. Her publications mainly focus on public innovation. Recently she has become part of the research team of Sinnergiak ,Social Innovation (UPV/EHU) where she is working on social innovation projects.
