Xagoraris Spyridon is sales and export manager at a world leader multinational company, responsible for country (Greece) net sales, profitable growth targets and product mix improvement. Professional on sales & marketing, demonstrating strong skills in team building and management. Native user of Greek and skills of English language (understanding, speaking, writing). Excellent user of SAP system and Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Spyros has a bachelor’s degree as Mechanical Engineer from the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology in 1994. Since then, for the last 23 years, he has constantly been working in the Chemical Industry for a multinational company.
From 1995 to 2001 he worked as a Territory manager at Athens area responsible for net sales maintenance and implement national and international programs rollouts. The main accountabilities were to merchandize customer services according to company standards, customer acquisitions and to implement customer training programs at their properties (Safety & Processes). From 2002 to 2009 he worked as a District & Training Manager for all Greece responsible to create and to follow well-developed plans that deliver growth through local teams. He took strategic actions to drive retain and grow the existing business and gain new customers in order to increase the Greek portfolio. Also, as a training manager, he had to assess the employees’ strengths and development opportunities in order to optimize their performance at their roles according the company policies. Furthermore, he planned and implement internal training for entry level associates. From 2009 until now he is sales manager and export manager responsible for developing the company strategy and carry out the sales plans with profitable way. He is planning, monitoring and take actions regarding the sales and service activities, contribution and expenses. He analyzes monthly results and initiate corrective actions. He has increased the market share in existing markets and maximize new business acquisitions. He leads and coach employees through individual training, personal motivation assessment and feedback. He follows the corporate sustainability policies working through customers/partners to achieve their own sustainability goals as well as the company economic and environmental goals.
Spyros is an expert presenter, negotiator able to establish and maintain good relations with strategic external and internal partners. Self-motivated and result-driven person with strong analytical and creative thinking. Native user of Greek and skills of English language (understanding, speaking, writing).
Spyros is a student in the Postgraduate Program "Teaching, Pedagogy and Information and Communication Technologies" Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology. He has participated at professional development courses such as “Management Developing Performance”, ”Improving Organizational Effectiveness”, “The profit Specialist”, ”Leadership Training I + II”, ”Negotiating with The Power of NICE”, ”Basic Marketing Principles”.
