Laurence Bordenave is founder of Association Stimuli, a group of scientists, artists and science communicators. She is science communicator and author.
She started her career as microbiologist in the Hygiene Laboratory of Paris. After 7 years of scientific development and research, she decided to devote her work to science communication and fictional narrative. She graduated in science communication.
Laurence Bordenave is author of two scientific books about microbes and of graphic novels on Aids. She is regularly invited in classroom to talk about scientific fiction and in events about scientific images. She also gives courses at Paris Diderot University about young public and “microbe” concept, and about comics and Science.
She created the Comics’n Science workshops for teenagers which is now analyzed by the Laboratoire de didactique A. Revuz (Paris Diderot University) through the Sarabandes research project in which she‘s involved as project coordinator for Association Stimuli.
