Oksana Lozovenko, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”. From 01.03.2024 she is a lecturer at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany within a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) project “TEBE-Teaching Basics in English”. This project means that the university offers lectures in mathematics and physics for interested (German-speaking) students in English in order to facilitate and prepare them for a stay abroad later.
She did a PhD in theory and methodology of teaching physics and worked for several years as a lecturer at Zaporizhzhia National University, Ukraine. Since 2010 she has been an Associate Professor at the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic”, and since 2020 she served as the Head of Physics Department.
Her main research interest is developing students’ critical thinking through physics and mathematics.
