PhD Student Alina Iorga Pisică (Bucharest University of Economic Studies – International Business and Economics, Romania) is currently in the final year of her PhD, doing research for her PhD thesis on the impact of AI implementation on the structure and ethics of Higher Education. She has solid understanding (BA in ELT, 1999) of foreign language teaching methodologies and pedagogical principles and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles as a result of her professional expertise, designing courses for general, academic and business English. She holds a MA in Organisational Communication. She is an active and motivated professional, focused on academic development, distinguishing herself as a thorough professional, extremely productive, well-organised, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, engaging in different international projects as an affiliate with the Association of Language Testers Europe, Think-Tank participant with the European Centre for Modern Languages, drawing the guidelines for the leaflet entitled “Towards a Guide to Language Education in pandemic times and beyond”, which can be found on the ECML website. In 2024, she was invited to attend in the quality of expert the 2nd working Conference “Regulating the Use of AI Systems in Education” organised by the Council of Europe Education Department in Strasbourg.
