He is a dynamic, visionary and solid team player with a proven track record in collaborating with schools to increase students’ achievement, and to maintain excellence in education. Mr. UPAHI teaches chemistry, science methods and some curriculum courses at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. His research efforts concentrate on expertise and creativity in complex, real-life problems, with particular emphases in chemistry and science education research. His primary methods are critical thinking, open-ended problem solving, context and problem-based learning, and their role in developing conceptual understanding, cognitive skills and the development of transferable problem solving skills.
