Nina Holstermann

Dr. Nina Holstermann is a lecturer in Biology Education at the University of Vechta. Besides, she teaches biology at high school in Oldenburg, Graf-Anton-G√ľnther-Schule.

She is committed to bridging the gap between school and university education.

Her research interests include biology teacher education, inclusive science education and students' motivation to engage in biological topics.

She received her PhD focused on the influence of scientific hands-on activities on students' motivation in 2008, and has published her doctoral research for instance in Learning and Instruction (2012) and Research in Science Education (2010).
