Dr. Nina Holstermann is a lecturer in Biology Education at the University of Vechta. Besides, she teaches biology at high school in Oldenburg, Graf-Anton-Günther-Schule.

She received her PhD focused on the influence of scientific hands-on activities on students' motivation in 2008, and has published her doctoral research for instance in Learning and Instruction (2012) and Research in Science Education (2010).
