Dr. Zeynep Yurtseven Avci holds a PhD in 2012 from North Carolina State University, Department of Instructional Technology. He is currently working as an Asisstant professor in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology at the Faculty of Education at Eskisehir Osmangazi University.
She was involved in the project MINDSET (National Science Foundation) which was supported by NSF (National Science Foundation) during her PhD.
Dr. Yurtseven Avci recently has worked on the project called Developing a Model for Teacher Professional Development for Effective Technology Integration in collaboration with Boston College.
Also, Dr. Yurtseven Avci is working as a researcher in the research project named The Digital Story of Science: The Experiences of Pre-service Teachers, which is supported by Eskisehir Osmangazi University Scientific Research Projects Commission.
In addition, a project named Innovative Approaches in the Production of Enriched Materials in Science Education has been accepted by TUBITAK4005 (National Science Foundation of Turkey) as 4005 project (teacher professional development project) in 2019.
Dr. Prof. Dr. Zeynep Yurtseven Avci has national and international articles, book chapters and papers on educational technology.
Areas of expertise: Innovative educational technologies, development of instructional material using technology for different fields, contribution of technology use in learning to learning, communication and collaboration tools, and use of technology in mathematics and science education.
