New Perspectives in Science Education

Isabel holds a PhD in Information Science and Technologies and postgraduate in e-learning techniques and contexts from University of Coimbra. Master in Educational Sciences (area of specialization in Educational Psychology) by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences - University of Coimbra. Graduate in Sociology by ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon. She teaches at the School of Education and Social Sciences (ESECS) of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria since 1988. She participates in some European funded projects on the use of technologies in learning contexts, and teacher’s competencies. Her research interests include Technology Enhanced Learning, Distance Learning, Quality Assessment and Assurance in E-learning, Group Dynamics, Open Space Technologies, and Innovation in Education.
