Lina Schulze-Buxloh obtained a Bachelor of Science in biology at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf in 2010 and a Master of Science in biology with a focus on material sciences at the RWTH Aachen in 2012. Since 2013 she worked as a free lecturer for scientific topics in vocational schools for health professions. Moreower she obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering with a focus on energy technology in 2018.
Since 4/2019 she works as a research associate at the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences in the field of research and development. Since 2020 she is also in charge of organisation and support of the teaching in the study programme „Smart Building Engineering“. She also coordinates research projects in the "Institute of Smart Building (ISBE)" founded in 2023.
