New Perspectives in Science Education

Marcel Simon has been a research assistant in the Chemistry Education Department at Friedrich Schiller University Jena since 2017. His doctoral research focuses on learning to teach laboratories as places of professionalization in chemistry teacher education. In this context, he is developing and evaluating a teaching-learning laboratory format for first-semester chemistry student teachers.
