Elena Stakanova is a teacher of English as a foreign language, PsyD at the department of English for Humanities, Southern Federal University, Russian Federation.
Elena graduated in Linguistics – English as a Foreign Language (EFL) from Rostov State Pedagogical University in 1996. Since then, for the last 25 years, she has been working for the Southern Federal University as a lecturer.
In 2006 Elena successfully completed her Doctoral thesis in Educational Psychology and received PsyD.
In 2007-2008 she had the enhancement course in English from London Language Centre “Excel English”. She worked as an interpreter at Oulu University, Finland. Elena participates in conferences across the globe. She has 30 publications; 3 articles are indexed in Scopus.
