Kenichi Goto

Kenichi Goto was a teacher at Saitama Prefectural High School in 1989, and a supervisor at Saitama Prefectural High School Education Guidance Division. He has been working at Toyo University since 2017.
In the same year, he was appointed to the position of Director of the Center for Teaching Professions at Toyo University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Japanese Association for Science Education and Editor-in-Chief of Science Education from 2021.
  
Kenichi Goto is a researcher at the National Institute for Educational Policy Research (NIER), where he conducted a project study on "Qualities and Abilities", which is the central idea of the new Courses of Study. He is a member of the committee that prepared the new Courses of Study, Junior High School Science, and Senior High School Chemistry, author of the 2020 edition of the textbook "Junior High School Science" published by Kyoiku Shuppan, and author of the 2021 edition of the textbook "Basic Science and Mathematics Inquiry" published by Keirinkan.
