Andreas is a Professor of Physics Education at Kristianstad University, Sweden. He has a MSc, MEd (teachers certificate) and PhD in Physics from Lund University. He teaches Physics, Astronomy and Science Education, foremost pre- and in-service teacher education. He is appointed Excellent teacher.
He is currently focusing his research activities within Science Education Research, and he is the academic leader of the research group Learning in Science and Mathematics (www.hkr.se/LISMA).
Among Andreas' research interests are children's and students' views and uses of theories and theoretical models in explanations and during discussions. He is generally interested in the relation between views on the nature of Science and the teaching and learning of Science, especially in connection to uses of ubiquitous computing.
