Marija Gaurina,is professor mentor of physics and computer science at the Technical and Industrial School of Ruđer Bošković in Sinj. She continued her education in 2020 at the postgraduate doctoral study on Research in the Education of Natural and Technical Sciences in Split at the Faculty of Science, majoring in physics. For five years she has been Scientix Ambassador for the Republic of Croatia, Microsoft's innovative educational expert, certified National Geographic educator and member of expert working groups for the European Schoolnet Academy and Polar Star. She is speeaker in various STEM workshops, seminars and courses locally, nationally and internationally live and online.
Her research interests includes analysis of gamification elements and its impact on educational physics particularly at the secondary level of education, conceptual mind maps in science education and different representations in physics education.
