Jordi Martí is member of the CODi, a research group from the Faculty of Education, Translation and Human Sciences (Vic University)..
He graduated in Biology and works as Professor of Science Education in the University of Vic. His fields of research interest are the processes of building scientific knowledge of primary-middle school children (3 to 12 years) and the development of Kindergarten and Primary science teachers’ Pedagogical Content Knowledge.
He has published several books and articles about science learning and instruction; and he has participated in the development of curricular materials for the teaching of science in primary and secondary schools.
Since 2003, he promotes the Conference “La Ciencia feta pels infants” (Science done by children), a scientific conference where children of primary schools have the leading role, explaining their scientific researches.
