S.I.M.P.L.E. School In the Middle: Progressive Learning and Inclusion

Abstract
For several years, the Istituto Comprensivo Fiorenzuola has seen the increase of students with Autism problems, Dyslexia or Specific Language Impairment/ Learning Difficulties and offer competitive and innovative teaching tools related to this problem: educative robotics, early screening, AACC method.
The project is focused on:
- innovate the approach and methodology of teaching related to the children with Autism, Dyslexia or Specific Language Impairment/ Learning Difficulties
- strengthen the education and training paths for the teacher related to Autism, Dyslexia or Specific Language Impairment/ Learning Difficulties
- deliver high quality services and address increasingly needs
- strengthen the collaboration and cooperation with stakeholders and partners involved in autism problems at local, national and international level
- support digital integration to increase the quality of learning for autism students
- promote multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approaches
- improve collaborations with parents and other external stakeholders
- develop the ability to early identification of children with language difficulties (LANGUAGE SCREENING starting the earliest possible children at risk of speech therapy services)
- collaborate with the speech therapist to apply daily part of the rehabilitation program
- organize language laboratories with different goals depending on the age of the child
