Abstract
During the last few years the question of what the school should be like in the future, has been more and more prevalent. The matter becomes ever more current when new schools which should be good for the following decades are being built. It indeed is important to think about the matter.
The changing society sets learning environments, schools and teachers challenges which require transforming the operational culture and broadening the way that learning environment is seen and understood.
However, one should remember in the midst of all the building work and future orientation that the building must above all serve the learning –therefore it is indeed important to think what good pedagogic is like and how the children and the young learn? Furthermore, what kind of information they need? What is the teacher's role and how they understand the pedagogic? How does the teacher experience their present skills and what is their need and willingness to train further like? How does the teacher proportion their own epistemological thoughts to the pedagogic of the future and what do they see their learning environment like?
