Ragnar Arntzen is Associate Professor in Norwegian Language and Litterature and work with teacher education at Østfold University College.
For the last ten years his research has focused on bilingualism and second language acquisition. Since 2008 he has been leading a Project with minority speaking children from Kindergarten to School, studying the children's second language development, their language shift, how it is to learn to read in a second language, and how these children develop their reading skills.
The last years he has been interested in using language and educational biographies of students, both as a tool for research as for teaching and Learning.
