Manfred Sablotny is a senior lecturer and coordinator for German as a Foreign Language with the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature at Tunghai University in Taiwan, where he has been working since 1993. He is co-author of a number of German textbooks and practice materials for native speakers of Chinese. His research interests lie in the fields of foreign language acquisition, blended learning, textbook authoring, and teacher cognitions.
With a background in translation and in German as a Foreign Language (DaF), Manfred has more than 20 years of teaching experience in the field of German as a Foreign Language, and he is an avid user of modern technology in the classroom. Currently, Manfred is working on his dissertation in the field of teacher cognitions.
