Carmel Azzopardi is a full-time Physics senior lecturer at the G.F. Abela Junior College.
He graduated in Bachelor of Education from the University of Malta in 1991 and since then he has been teaching Physics at secondary and post-secondary level in different schools. In the year 2008 he obtained a Masters degree in Information technology from the University of Malta.
During his teaching career, he was involved in producing a Television educational programme called ‘Physics Highway’ intended for students preparing for SEC level Physics but also enticing to the general public. He also embarked on a project of filming a number of experiments and placed on Youtube. These experiments are important for advanced level and especially for intermediate level students who do not perform experiments during their course.
In 2009, Carmel Azzopardi published a book entitled ‘MATHEMATICAL REQUIREMENTS for Advanced and Intermediate Level PHYSICS’ to assist the students in their course.
