Dr. Musabbir Chowdhury is the Dean of Business and Information Technology at Loyalist College in Toronto and a Partner at Axiom Advice Inc., an Ontario-based IT consulting firm. Since 2012, his research has focused on Canadian productivity, particularly after Canada received a warning from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) to enhance its human capital and innovation. With seed funding from the National Research Council of Canada, he established the Productivity and Innovation Lab, also known as PiLab, at Niagara College. Additionally, he developed a productivity framework for small and medium-sized businesses, known as the Four Pillars of Productivity, or 4PoP.
Professor Chowdhury holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, a Ph.D. in educational technology from Walden University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Interactive Media from Sheridan Institute, and Bachelor and Master of Science in engineering from National Aviation University. He lives in the Greater Toronto Area. When he’s not working, he loves traveling, running marathons, making chocolate, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
