Giorgia Bassi works at IIT-CNR and mainly deals with Ludoteca del Registro .it, a digital education project for schools. In particular, she follows the design and implementation of training materials for classroom labs.
She also participates in the creation of digital content for pupils and teachers, such as educational videos and edutainment tools, including the “Internetopoli” web app and “Nabbovaldo and the blackmail from cybesapce” videogame.
Other areas of her activity for the Ludoteca are communication, that is the promotion of initiatives on all dedicated channels (website, social media) and the spread of scientific information, with the drafting of articles for conferences and magazines dedicated to the world of education in general and of the school in particular.
She also carries out the research project on the assessment of the effectiveness of workshops in school classes, in collaboration with the University of Florence.
She is the author of several papers on the subject of digital education and cybersecurity education and she has participated as speaker in several national and international conferences such as Didamatica, Didacta, Itasec, HelmeTo.
She is also part of the working group of the European ERASMUS + project called “SupercyberKids” on cybersecurity education in wich participate five partners from 5 different countries.
Giorgia graduated in Italian Literature at the University of Pisa in 2000 and she specialized in communication with a Master's degree in Communication and Multimedia at the University of Florence.
