The Future of Education

Abby MacPhail holds a Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, a Master of Arts in Peacebuilding and Conflict Transformation from SIT Graduate Institute, and a Master of Education from the University of Cape Town. She currently teaches high school History, Geography and IB Global Politics at the United Nations International School in New York. She is also the founder of Picture Justice, a human rights photojournalism program that teaches high school students in NYC how to use photography to raise awareness of local social justice issues. She has taught in Kenya, Italy, France, England, Croatia and Canada.
