Matthew Hudson, M.B.A., M.S.; Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Occidental College, Los Angeles, CA; Master of Business Administration, Finance and Business Economics concentration, University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, Los Angeles, CA; Master of Science in Leadership, Project Management Concentration, Northeastern University, Boston, MA. He is currently in the second year of an Educational Doctorate (Ed.D.) of Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine University’s School of Education and Psychology. His research has focused on aerospace, defense, employee engagement, employer retention, corporate universities and generational differences.
Mr. Hudson has lived and worked in Southern California for the last 17 years, in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties. He has overseen consulting projects internationally in the United Arab Emirates for Etihad Airways and China for CBRE Richard Ellis and domestically for P.F. Chang’s and Link 4 Corporation and has completed financial audits for Seiko Epson in Latin America. He currently works at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a participant in the selective Business Management Rotation Program, the most recent assignment being Global Supply Chain proposal analysis within the Aerospace Sector’s Autonomous Systems Division. His previous rotation was Contract Administration for the Navy’s TRITON production program.
Previously, Mr. Hudson was a Program Cost, Schedule and Control Analyst for the Air Force’s Global Hawk development program. Before Northrop, he served in Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations, Marketing and Cost Accounting for several multinational corporations such as ASML Cymer, Taylor Guitars, Petco, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, and Dialog Direct. Additionally, he and has taught Finance, Business, and Education at several San Diego universities and colleges.
Mr. Hudson is former founding member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Cost Management and has served on the board of a South Los Angeles Charter School. He has volunteered as a scoreboard operator for college basketball and speaks Spanish and some Vietnamese.
