Wagner de Oliveira is a professor in the area of Information Systems at Federal Institute of Education Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN).
Wagner holds a Bachelor´s Degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) since 2006, he is an Enterprise Systems Development Specialist from Faculdade Natalense para o Desenvolvimento do RN (FARN) since 2009, holds a Master´s Degree in Production Engineering from UFRN since 2010, and currently, he is a PhD student at University of Minho in Portugal.
Wagner has experience in the Computer Science field, with emphasis on Web Systems Development and Distance Education, more specifically on development of virtual learning environments.
Wagner has been working for more than 10 years with Distance Education, always seeking to improve this teaching method, and knowing that is possible to evolve Distance Education to a much better quality, attending society yearnings for a public, unpaid and excellence education.
Wagner also has a relevant trajectory in academic management, performing some functions on the Distance Education Campus at IFRN, such as, Information and Communication Technology Coordinator, Innovation Research Coordinator, and, most recently, Academic Director and occasional substitute of Director General.
