Janina Kaminskiene is lecturer at the Centre of Mathematics, Physics and Information Technology at Aleksandras Stulginskis University in Lithuania.
Janina graduated from Kaunas University of Technology in 1980 with a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics. Since 1989, for the last 27 years, she has constantly been working at Aleksandras Stulginskis University.
Janina is constantly invited and participates in various national and international conferences. She publishes articles concerned Mathematics education development and the use of e-learning in teaching of Mathematics in international journals and conference proceedings. In recent years she introduced teaching Mathematics using the virtual learning environment Moodle. She also takes part in different courses for qualification improvement.
Janina has participated in several international projects. She has been a member of working group in NORDPLUS Higher Education Project - DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE BALTIC NETWORK IN AGROMETRICS.
Areas of expertise: teaching and learning Mathematics, higher education, use of ICT in education of Mathematics, online teaching and e-learning.
