Paulina Bronfman Collovati is an actress and theater director from The Catholic University of Chile. She holds post graduate studies in Theater direction from The University of Chile and a Master of Arts in Education from the University of York- funded by Conicyt Chile. She taught acting and theater direction to undergraduates in Santiago, Chile for ten years before starting her studies at York University in 2013.
Currently, she is doing a PhD in Education at The University of York funded by Conicyt Chile. Her PhD research titled “Problematizing Shakespeare under the gaze of Human Rights” focuses on the potential relation between human rights’ themes in selected Shakespearean plays under the guideline of Dr. Sarah Olive and Dr. Vanita Sundaram . The research uses ethnodrama: an innovative qualitative methodology.
