The Future of Education

Orlin Kouzov has worked for the OSF-Sofia for 10 years and has headed the NRN unit at the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) for two years. He has worked on more than 100 projects, supported by various institutions such as European Commission, UNDP, USAID, NATO Science Program etc. International expert in digital divide issues, as well as in research infrastructure networks. As pinnacle in his professional career he considers the invitation of the UN Secretary General to be part of a High Level Forum of experts (NY, 2000) for overcoming digital divide and prepare the agenda for the Millennium goals.
As of 2002 he has headed the Bulgarian ICT Development Agency and was its CEO for a full mandate. From 2006 Mr. Kouzov works for MES and he took active part in all national ICT initiatives in education for the last 10 years, including the Strategy for effective implementation of information and communication technologies in education and science in the Republic of Bulgaria (2014-2020).
