Dr. Daniela Pavlova (PhD) is a chief assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Information Sciences, at ULSIT. She has also worked as an expert at the Distance Learning Centre at the same university.
She graduated from the doctorate program ‘Automated Systems for Data Processing and Management’.
Her scientific interests are in the field of distance learning and e-governance. She has numerous publications on topics involving e-government, e- governance and Cloud computing. She has taught a variety of courses, including: Information Technologies in Public Administration: E-Government; E-governance, Legal Aspects of Information Technologies, Socio-legal Aspects of Information Technologies, Databases, and SQL.
She has participated in national and international conferences and forums related to e-governance and the use of modern information technologies in education (Bett, London) as well as in several research projects:
1/ Automated Information System of the ‘Doctoral School’ in university structures, SRF (Scientific Research Funding) MES (Ministry of Education and Science);
2/ Developing a knowledge management system at the Faculty of Information Sciences at SULSIT;
3/ System for qualification and career development of the lecturers at SULSIT;
4/ Inspiring Science Education (ICT PSP);
5/ Schools Study Earthquakes (Erasmus+).
Dr. Pavlova is an active participant in national initiatives related to education quality improvement and a member of the interdepartmental working group, that has developed the National strategy for lifelong learning for 2014-2020 project.
