The Future of Education

Ana María de Samper obtained her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia and holds two Masters Degrees in Education from the same university. She has over 30 years’ experience at all education levels, both in teaching and administrative positions. Her special interests are in teacher training, teaching and leading for understanding, technology in education, visible thinking and learning, cooperative learning and English teaching. She has been an online tutor for Havard’s Wide World courses in Spanish and a participant in special projects related to bilingualism, leadership in education, science teaching and learning, and international accreditation.
She presently works as professor, consultant, and researcher with the Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures at the Universidad de La Sabana, in Bogota, Colombia.
