Francesca Ripamonti is Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences of Environment, Landscape and Territory of the University of Milan where she teaches EAP and ESP (English for Academic and Specific Purposes) and where she also collaborates as a language trainer in the University Language Centre (SLAM). She has been working as a teacher of English at Liceo Gandini, a high school specialized in Scientific Studies (in Lodi, Italy).
She holds a Ph.D. in Synchronic and Applied Linguistics from the University of Milan and a Master in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the University of Alcala', Madrid.
Her research interests include EAP/ESP teaching and learning, CLIL methodology, language acquisition, and technology-enhanced language learning and teaching, distance teaching. She has gained significant experience in teaching English Language in Higher Education Institutions and coordinating training projects for the Italian Ministry of Education, for which she works as an ELT, and ICT trainer.
