She is Assistant in the Department of Education and Didactics of Biology in Faculty of Science at Charles University and Teacher of Chemistry at Archbishop Grammar School in Prague.
She graduated in Biology and Chemistry Teaching at Charles University. She received her RNDr focused on teaching of insects for secondary school pupils in 2005, and since that time has completed specialization study for school coordinators of environmental education (2010) and training course for that specialization study (2014).
She worked as a teacher at Rakovského, Sázavská and Tyršova Elementary Schools and Arcus Grammar School in Prague. She was the coordinator of environmental education, of the international Eco-school and the Globe programs at Tyršova Elementary School.
Her research interests include development of competences in science education based on the active work of pupils as well as project based education and pedagogical practice of teaching students at elementary and secondary schools.
