Chief Assist. Prof. Dimitrina Papagalska is a lecturer and an Scientific secretary at the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Department (IPTT) of the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2018 she became a doctor of economy in the field of intellectual property with a dissertation on the topic ‘Business with intellectual property in the television industry’ and also has a master and bachelor degree in the field of intellectual property and business.
Chief Assist. Prof. Papagalska is an academic lecturer at UNWE since 2015 where she teaches to students in bachelor’s and master’s degree which are in regular, distance and individual form of education. She teaches ‘Intellectual property’, 'Copyright and related rights', ‘Television industry and business’ and ‘Creative industries and business’.
Apart from her academic career as a lecturer and researcher she has over 8 years of experience in project management and administration, as well as in organizing and coordinating trainings and events in the fields of intellectual property and education for universities and schools. She is also a member of the Media Literacy Coalition and Digital Republic Association, Bulgaria.
Her research interests are in the fields of intellectual property, television business, creative industries, knowledge management and media literacy.
