Dr. Miglena Molhova-Vladova has been a university professor for more than 15 years now. Currently she is chief assistant professor at the Department of Industrial Business at the Business Faculty at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. She holds a PhD in Economics, Organization and Management, with a dissertation entitled "Intellectual Property win Electronic Business and Strategies for Its Management". She teaches "Digital Business", "Licensing Transactions", ”Patent and innovation searches” and "Economics of the Enterprise". Miglena has successfully completed a number of additional qualification courses at the World Intellectual Property Organization.
She is the author of the monograph "Electronic Business" (2009), and co-authored with Assoc. Prof. Dr. R. Brestnichka and Dr. F. Koleva and the monograph "International Encyclopedia of Laws for Intellectual Property Law" (2015, updated 2019 edition). She has more than 30 publications in the field of intellectual property, economics and management. She has worked on over 15 European projects in various fields - education, ICT, media, culture and art.
She is a member of the European Network of Teachers of Intellectual Property. Since 2010 she has been a judge in the MEDEA AWARDS initiative, which promotes innovation and good practices in the use of media (audio, video, graphics and animation) in education, honoring the best achievements in the production and pedagogical design of media-rich teaching materials, resources, processes and services.
