Patricia Arnold is an associate professor of socio-informatics at HM Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Currently, she is Vice-Dean of the Department for Applied Social Sciences, and in charge of an online degree program in social work.
Patricia earned her PhD degree in educational science at Helmut-Schmidt-University Hamburg, Germany, in the field of online distance education. Previously, in her professional career, she worked in adult education and IT training, designing European transnational educational programs.
Patricia has published several books and articles on online learning, with a particular focus on online learning for social work higher education. She acts as reviewer for research grants, journals and conferences.
She studied educational science, mathematics and sports at the University of Hamburg, Germany and Goldsmiths University of London, United Kingdom and is alumna of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung).
