The Future of Education

Assoc. Prof. Isabela-Anda DRAGOMIR, PhD, teaches general and military English at "Nicolae Balcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu, Romania. She obtained a PhD in Philology (with focus on Linguistics) in 2019. Her fields of research include, but are not limited to: Linguistics, EFL, ESP, adult learning, E-learning, gender mainstreaming. As part of her doctoral studies, Ms. Dragomir benefited from a one-year Fulbright scholarship during which she was a visiting researcher at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, USA. She acts as a language expert in several national and international projects and grants, and has coordinated and participated in public diplomacy and educational projects under the aegis of NATO PDD and Eramus+. Scientific publications include topics such as: methodology of English language teaching, on-line teaching and evaluation, developing English language skills, developing critical thinking skills, teaching English in higher education, and, more recently, gender studies.
