The Future of Education

Isabel Abreu dos Santos is Professor at Lusofona University in Lisbon, Portugal and researcher at MARE NOVA – Centre of Marine Sciences and Environment in Nova University. With a degree in Environmental Engineer, Master in risk analysis and toxic waste in Oklahoma University, USA, Master in Environmental Engineering, and a PhD in Environment and Sustainability/ Enviornmental Engineering, by Nova University.
She has been working in Risk communication and Governance, linking the environment with risk and Civil Protection. She is also a consultant for public and private companies.
Subjects of scientific research are: environmental management, risk communication, risk governance, and sustainable development.
