The Future of Education

Graduated in Building Engineering in 2001 (Politecnico di Milano), Enrico S. Mazzucchelli is Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering at the ABC Department (Architecture Built environment and Construction engineering), Politecnico di Milano. He works in the field of design and verification of technical behaviour and performance of innovative systems, organisms and building components, focusing on building envelopes, integration and harmonization of building services and renewable energy sources systems in nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB), timber construction by means of industrial prefabrication techniques and technologies, retrofit of existing buildings. He is author of books, international conference papers and journal articles.

He teaches “Building Services Design Studio” (Bachelor of Science in Building and Construction Engineering) and he is lecturer assistant in the “Complex Buildings Design” and “Timber Construction Technologies” courses (Master of Science in Building Engineering), School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering.
