As a graduate biologist, Anke Renger has extensive methodological knowledge in qualitative and quantitative research. She designed the NaWiTex student labs for secondary schools and led them from 2012-2017. Through her visiting professorship at ASH Berlin, Anke Renger has expanded her competencies in early childhood STEM education. Anke Renger is currently working as a research assistant in the LemaS project at UHH. Anke Renger is also well connected with different STEM-stakeholder in Berlin and Germany and with the Alice Salomon University Berlin as lecturer. She has also professorial support within the "Didactics of Biology" (University Hamburg Germany) as well as the study programme "Education in Childhood" on the part of the Alice Salomon University Berlin. Her focus is on the STEM area as well as the promotion of giftedness and “Lernwerkstattarbeit”.
