Jarema Drozdowicz is an educational researcher currently working at the Faculty of Educational Studies of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in the position of an associate professor
Jarema graduated with his PhD in Cultural Anthropology at AMU Poznań in 2006 with the thesis “Symbols at work: Academic Contexts of the Symbolic Approach in Anthropology”. After the PhD study he started working at the Faculty of Educational Studies as assistant professor, where he’s now a member of the Department of Intercultural Education and the Research in Social Inequalities. He is also the member of the Scientific Board of the faculty.
He participates in several research consortia covering the field of various socio-cultural phenomena and processes affecting modern education. He is the head f the international research consortium INTERACT, as well works as a corporate consultant in the area of training, education and research and development. He supervises BA, MA, and PhD theses.
Jarema is second editor in chief of the scientific journal “Kultura-Społeczeństwo-Edukacja” published by AMU Press. He had also worked in the position of the coordinator of the Erasmus program at the Faculty of Educational Studies for many years.
Jarema coordinated as the member of the organizing and scientifc comitee several international conferences and congresses in pedagogy, popular culture studies and the research of religion
