Pernille Skov Sørensen is development consultant and project manager at VUC Storstrøm, an adult education centre located in the south-eastern part of Denmark. VUC Storstrøm has a special focus on lifelong learning, social inclusion, and internationalisation.
Pernille holds a BA. in Education from University College Zealand and a M.A in ICT-based educational design from Aarhus University. She has an extensive experience in designing and writing project applications as well as implementing and managing both national and international projects. Pernille has since 2015 worked with CPD activities specially focussing on development of digital competences, and is highly experienced in carrying out international CPD activities. She redesigns didactic practices to fit new digital contexts and finds suitable digital tools to support different pedagogical approaches expecially in the field of Adult Education.
From 2007 to 2015 Pernille was a boardmember of one of Denmark’s largest educational publishers and helped to ensure a successful transition to more digital teaching materials. Alonside her work at VUC Storstrøm, Pernille also works as a volunteer with a special focus on social entrepreneurship as president of a riding association and for 15 years also the local gym association.
