Zuzana Součková works as an associate professor at the Institute of British and American studies, Faculty of Arts, University of Prešov in Prešov. She studied the teacher training programme of English Language and Literature and History at the University of Prešov. During her studies, she spent one semester studying English Language and Literature at the State School of Higher Education in Chełm, Poland as part of her Erasmus programme. After graduation, Zuzana Součková did an internship as a teacher assistant in SEK International School El Castillo, Spain and then became a full-time PhD. student at the University of Prešov within the study programme of English Language and Anglophone Cultures. During her PhD. studies, she spent two months at the University of Sunderland as part of her research stay focusing on blended learning and electronic portfolios. Later she participated in another Erasmus training programme in Çanakkale, Turkey. Nowadays, Zuzana Součková teaches predominantly linguistically oriented courses, such as Morphology, Introduction to Linguistics and in her research she focuses on the field of Linguistics and English Language Teaching.
