Innovation in Language Learning

Marina Tzakosta is Assistant Professor of language development and pedagogy of the preschool child at the Department of Preschool Education of the University of Crete. Her research interests include the acquisition of L1 and L2 specifically at the levels of morphophonology, specific language impairement, language contact and language change, dialectal variation and teaching of the Greek norm and its dialects, corpus linguistics. She has participated in various research projects as a principal investigator or a research associate. She has recently been awarded a grant by the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation in order to construct together with her research team the Digital Museum of Greek Oral History.
