Anna Vacalopoulou works as a linguist-researcher at the Department of Electronic Lexicography in the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP / R.C. "Athena").
She holds a Master's Degree in Lexicography (1997). Her interests include mainly the areas of electronic and computational lexicography, dictionaries for children, translation and subtitling as well as the development and management of electronic text corpora.
As an ILSP / R.C. "Athena" researcher, she has been involved in the design, developmend and co-ordination of various R&D projects. Her lexicographic contributions include monolingual and bilingual general and special-language dictionaries, glossaries and encyclopaedias in paper and electronic form.
