Elisa Bianchi is an expert in Linguistics and Distance Education.

She is PhD in General Linguistics and Romance languages philology, obtained in 2005 at University of Perugia. The PhD thesis concerns second language acquisition, and consists of a quantitative and a qualitative analysis of a corpus of Italian spoken by Japanese speakers.
Currently, she holds teaching Italian as a second language in e-learning courses, and she has been involved in the design and implementation both of the ICoNLingua e-learning platform and ICoNLingua Italian language online courses.
Since 2005 she holds training courses for teachers of Italian as a second language both in presence and in e-learning modality.
She has been involved in research projects in Italian linguistics, with special reference to terminology analysis and study of Italian language for special purposes.
