Innovation in Language Learning

Dimitrios Boglou is the Cyprus University of Technology innovation centre “ CUTing Edge” director and a German and English language instructor at the Language Centre of the Cyprus University of Technology. He holds Master of Education in Practice-Based Educational Research from Exeter University, UK, a M.A. in TESOL/TEFL from St. Michael’s College, Colchester,Vermont, USA. He has a M.A in Multimedia teaching from Friedrich Alexander University, Nuremberg, Germany and a B.A. in German language from Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas, USA. Dimitris has been involved in various European projects such as Grundtvig and Lucide Currently, Dimitris is involved in various research projects regarding VR/AR and its implementation in English for Specific Purpose classrooms. His research interests include ESAP course development, CALL, education technology, teacher leadership development and professionalism.
