Christina Auer operates between scientific theory and teaching practice in the field of adult education in Austria. She has been working in the field of pedagogy and teaching methodology ever since and is specialized in adult language learning and e-learning methodology. She also generates traditional and electronic teaching materials and is member of research groups for skill-based learning in adult education. She was also involved in the content design and development of a tutorial e-learning grammar for adult ESL learners. The planning and management of the pilot study to evaluate the e-Learning Grammar in adult ESL courses were among her major responsibilities within the last years.
She currently works in Adult Education (WIFI/Graz) and Higher Education (University of Klagenfurt/University of Applied Sciences Campus02/Graz) where her duties include language trainings and teacher trainings in teaching methodology and (adult) learning theory.
