Innovation in Language Learning

Profesor Castillo holds a Ph.D in Foreign Language Education from the University of Texas at Austin. He teaches at the Doctoral Program in Education at Universidad Distrital in Bogotá, Colombia. His book on Strategic Knowledge and Language Learning was nominated to the 2012 ELTons Award in the U.K. His university has made it available to the public at http://die.udistrital.edu.co/node/9278. He has written articles in several journals and has been a guest lecturer and a presenter in universities and in major academic events. He represents The Performers Educational Plays, an international theater group that produces plays for learners of English.
